Privacy : Concept, meaning & scope, right to privacy, principles, privacy as legal right, challenges
National Legal framework for protecting privacy : Supreme Court on right to privacy, right to privacy v/s freedom of press, reasonable restriction
Position of privacy under different laws: IT Act, 2000, freedom of information Act, IPC, Easement Act, IPR Act and Specific relief act.
Security in Cyberspace : Meaning, concept, challenges. Security Audit in business – policy, importance, standards and procedures.
Data Protection : Meaning of data, need for regulation, Data protection position in India , legal approaches to protection , data protection & employee privacy.
